Getting Here By Train

  • Take the GO Train on the Barrie Line from Toronto Union Station north to Barrie GO stations (Allandale Waterfront or Barrie South).
  • The train trip takes around 1 hr 40 min – 1 hr 45 min.
  • From Allandale Waterfront GO Station it’s just a short walk into downtown Barrie.

Getting Here By Car

  • Start in downtown Toronto and get onto ON-400 North via Allen Road (ON-401) or Highway 401 West, depending on your starting location.
  • Stay on Highway 400 North for approximately 95–105 km. This is the main highway connecting Toronto to Barrie.
  • Take your desired Barrie exit, such as Mapleview Drive, Essa Road, Dunlop Street, or Bayfield Street, depending on your destination.
  • Follow local roads from your exit to your final destination in Barrie.

Getting Here By Bus

  • Start at Toronto Union Station Bus Terminal and board an Ontario Northland or GO Transit bus to Barrie (service varies by route and time of day).
  • Travel north via Highway 400, with the bus stopping at destinations such as Barrie South GO, Allandale Waterfront GO, or the Downtown Barrie Terminal, depending on the route.
  • Disembark at the stop closest to your destination and, if needed, transfer to Barrie Transit or take a short taxi or rideshare trip.
